अथ योगानुशासनम् / Atha yogānuśāsanam / Now the teachings of yoga

Grounded in years of study into the philosophies of the dharmic traditions as well as the practices of āsana, prāṇāyāma, visualization, and meditation, I compassionately invite individuals to explore the art of embodiment.

Yoga helps us make sense of the story of us. The process of living yoga in all aspects of day to day life allows one to embrace a present-focused state of mind that is playfully curious about sensation while maintaining a silent inner critic. The yoga path has ethics embedded in its limbs. A yogi is mindfully and nonviolently engaged with the world. A yogi lives harmoniously with the cycles and wisdom of nature, Mother Earth.

Using a consent-focused, accessible, and trauma aware approach, my yoga classes are welcoming for all bodies, identities, and abilities. May any merit gained from this practice be for the liberation of all beings, सर्वभूतानि sarva-bhutani, everywhere.

One-on-One Sessions

In a one-on-one yoga session, you will be guided through a comprehensive assessment in which the yoga therapist supports you in setting an intention, sankalpa, and a goal. We will then collaboratively select and refine practices that honor your unique constitution and cultivate an inner felt sense of well-being. These sessions include education and personalized lifestyle, āsana, prāṇāyāma, and meditation routines which lay the foundation for a consistent personal yoga practice.

Sliding scale pricing: $75-$100. In person & virtual options available. Weekly spots are now open for Summer 2025! Ask me about being a “practicum client”!
